Dr. Juana Poulisis is a Psychiatrist from the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina with a Residency in Psychiatry at the Torcuato de Alvear Hospital, Caba, Argentina. In the year of 2016, she gave a TEDx Talks, entitled “When healthy doesn’t let you live.” From 2017 to 2018 she was President of the International Chapter of the International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals (iaedp) and from 2019 to 2020 she was President of the Spanish-Latin American chapter of the Academy of Eating Disorders.

An ED specialist, she completed a rotation in the Eating Disorders program at Wesley Hospital, University of Sydney in Australia, mentored by Professor Peter Beaumont. She also completed a rotation at UPMC Hospital, University of Pittsburgh. She holds a Master’s degree in Psycho-neuro-pharmacology from the University Favaloro, where she teaches in the Faculty of Nutrition and Postgraduate Studies in Eating Disorders. She is the author of the book “The New Eating Disorders.
