Tere Rivera MS, RDN, FAED, CEDS-S is a Certified Eating Disorder Registered Dietitian. She graduated from The University of The Incarnate Word with honors in San Antonio, Texas with a M.S. in Nutrition and has worked in the eating disorder field in all levels of care for more than 20 years supporting children, adolescents, adults, and their families.

She has been honored with the distinction as Fellow of the Academy for Eating Disorders (FAED) for her collaboration on the prevention, treatment, and research of eating disorders. Tere served as co-chair for the scientific program of the International Conference on Eating Disorders at Seattle in 1008. She has been intensively trained in DBT and has published scientific papers related to the role of nutrition therapy in the treatment of eating disorders and the risk of osteoporosis in Anorexia Nervosa. Tere has presented in global conferences on topics related to nutrition and eating disorders throughout Europe, North and South America.

As a Master level Registered Dietitian with extensive experience in Medical Nutrition Therapy and Eating Disorders, she specializes in helping children, adolescents and adults who struggle with eating disorders.
Tere is the owner/founder of Wise Nutrition Counseling, LLC where she offers in person and telehealth nutrition counseling. She serves as a consultant/supervisor and offers individual and group supervision that can be offered in Spanish as well.
