Rene Zweig, Ph.D., CEDS-C, ACT, is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, a Certified Cognitive Therapist, and a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist and Supervisor. Dr. Zweig has been utilizing cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness interventions with her patients for 20 years.

Dr. Zweig graduated from the University of Michigan and earned her doctorate in clinical psychology from Rutgers University. She completed a pre-doctoral internship at the Yale University School of Medicine and a postdoctoral fellowship at the American Institute for Cognitive Therapy. Dr. Zweig is the co-author of Treatment Plans and Interventions for Bulimia and Binge-Eating Disorder.

Dr. Zweig is the Founder and Clinical Director of Union Square Cognitive Therapy, a private psychology practice in downtown New York City. At Union Square Cognitive Therapy, Dr. Zweig provides in-person and telehealth session for her patients. She also mentors and supervisors her talented associates who are the next generation of eating disorders and cognitive-behavioral specialists.

Dr. Zweig specializes in cognitive-behavioral therapy for adults, young adults, and teens with eating disorders, body image disturbances, depression, anxiety disorders, perfectionism, and maternal mental health.
