Elizabeth (Liz) Stephenson, LCPC, CEDS-C  is a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist psychotherapist and has specialized in the eating disorder field since 2016. Liz graduated from Idaho State University with a Masters in Counseling degree. She holds licenses in Idaho, Utah, and Hawaii. Post graduate work at Center For Change eating disorder treatment center in Orem, Utah gave valuable experience in higher level of care assessment, experience, and education.

Liz lives in the more rural area of Idaho where there is very little professional specialized help for eating disorders and she recognized the great need to increase support. Her work has included increasing awareness, help, and education by volunteering many presentations on eating disorders at universities, local school districts, medical offices/hospitals, youth groups, and counseling centers. Online news interviews have recognized Liz as a specialized professional in this field.

Liz is the founder/part owner of the Rexburg Eating Disorder Center in eastern Idaho. Providing competent, educated help in this complicated field is important to her. Besides her own full-time case load, she has trained clinicians and counseling interns in working with eating disorders, working as a treatment team, as well as encouraging them to obtain CEDS credential. She serves as a state supervisor, helping therapists working towards obtaining clinical licensing. Liz offers individual and group supervision/consultation.
