In this 3-day workshop you will learn how to integrate sensory processing skills into your work with your clients.  Attendance options include both virtual via Zoom and in-person at 1525 Lakeville Dr, Kingwood, TX, 77339 (with limited seating available).  The workshop will be on 3 days in May – Saturday, May 8th, Sunday, May 16th, and Sunday, May 23rd from 4:00-6:30pm CST.

We will review the brain science behind sensory processing difficulties and how various techniques can help to rewire the brain to create more ease for clients.  Integration of sensory skills for various disciplines will be discussed with case examples to demonstrate the use of these techniques.

Learning Objectives:

1. Discover sensory techniques to help clients regain their choices, confidence, and capabilities with more ease.

2. Learn how to shift treatment planning to work on clients’ underlying brain chemistry to help manage emotions and the internal thought wars, leading to a more empowered sense of self.

3. Understand how we can collaborate to enhance each other’s disciplines with shared learning tools and techniques to support clients in reaching their ultimate goals.

4. Learn the importance of individualizing sensory skills and how to include the client in developing a unique plan.
