Ita joins iaedp™ 

Established in 1985, the International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals (iaedp™) is today well recognized for its excellence in providing first-quality education and high-level training standards to an international multidisciplinary group of various healthcare treatment providers and helping professions, who treat the full spectrum of eating disorders, certifying those who have met prescribed requirements.

Since 1998, Ita has been dedicated to the treatment, prevention, training, and research of eating disorders. With over 20 years of experience in the field, led by a multidisciplinary team, Ita is able to provide a specialized and comprehensive therapeutic treatment, with the fundamental objective of improving the quality of life of the patient and the accompanying family.

Both organizations are dedicated to the recovery of people with eating disorders, promoting public and professional awareness, prevention, research, and training of professionals in the field of ED.

iaedp™ is an association dedicated to ensuring that all members have the proper education and competencies to practice with the highest level of integrity and knowledge with clients, families, colleagues, assisting professionals and the community at large.

The iaedp™ Foundation offers many diverse opportunities for the exchange of ideas and information in the eating disorder field, such as a member forum, searchable online database, online member business journal including blogs and spotlights, current eating disorder news items for discussion, committees and chapters, surveys, e-newsletters, and the annual symposium, which attracts hundreds of healthcare professionals from around the world.

Being part of this alliance helps us to be in contact with other professionals, creating a network aimed at improving the quality of care for those suffering from the various eating disorders.
